Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Meshelle was introduced to the world of music at the age of 5. Growing up in Brazil and New Orleans, enabled Meshelle to experience different genres to create her own singing and writing style.
Meshelle traveled to Nashville for her first recording contract. She later returned to New Orleans where she was the opening act at the New Orleans Jazz Fest. In Los Angeles she was produced by Stephen Brae and Gardner Cole and performed at the Roxy where she opened for some legendary musicians like, John Entwistle (The Who), Steely Dan and others.
Meshelle was asked to go on tour in Japan, singing in English and Japanese. After almost 2 years in Japan, Meshelle returned to the US and signed a record contract and performed at the Music Winter Conference in Miami. She released a new single, a dance version of the Chicago’s song “Hard to Say I’m Sorry”, which landed at #5 in the Dance/Electronic Category.
Meshelle has also released a song called “Downtown Miami”. The song is a tool to help promote the city and thank all the residents of the area for supporting her career. She performed the song at the American Airlines Arena for a charity event celebrating the 114thBirthday of the City of Miami.
As her career moves forward into new projects, we know that Meshelle will continue delights audiences with her wide range of musical talents and incredible stage presence.
